The Woodland Renaissance Partnership
The Woodland Renaissance Partnership
Woodland Renaissance is a partnership of private and public enterprises, working to regenerate woodland and forestry in the South West to benefit the economy, society and the environment. The Partnership, which is managed by the Silvanus Trust, came together in order to implement recommendations from the 2002 South West England Woodland and Forestry Strategic Economic Study.
It is the objective of the Partnership to increase the amount of local timber used in the South West and increase the number of jobs in the SW forestry sector. The Partnership:
- acts as the voice of the South West woodland sector
- provides industry consultation
- networks and promotes information and best practice across the sector
